PechaKucha Night - Volume 6
While the date isn’t sett in stone, tentatively, we are looking at February 12th, 2009 at the House of Blues in the Cambridge Room. Check out our Flickr photos from last year…that is going to be a fun night!

The Competiton is open for Registration and will be until probably Mid-December. We have about half the jury posted on the webpage, and are excited to release the two additions to the jury very soon (possibly tomorrow!).

New Pedestrian Bridge at Northcoast Harbor →
So apparently the new bridge designs coming in for the Pedestrian Bridge behind the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and Cleveland Browns Stadium are actually pretty decent…vote on which is your favorite! Let City Planning know people actually do care about what their city looks like.
Help raise the bar. Demand the best…good enough doesn’t cut it.

PechaKucha Night Cleveland - Volume 2 →
These pictures are from the second PechaKucha Night that Raseem and I hosted in the Cambridge Room at the House of Blues. Such a great set of presenters got to discuss their work to a crowd of about 250 people…can’t wait until the third PechaKucha Night Cleveland coming up on May 8th!

As many of you probably know, I organize the Cleveland PechaKucha with my friend and colleague Raseem Parker. We put these events together to showcase the ridiculous amount of creative talent that exists in Cleveland. These pictures are from the first PechaKucha Night where over 350 people showed up to watch fourteen 400 second presentations.

Sounds like the title for a post by a 5 year old who just learned how to use the computer, huh. Well thats about all I have in me at 8:30pm on a Friday night. This post, and the few that will likely follow, are experimental in nature - once I get the hang of this, posts will almost always be directly relevant to something I’m working on.
